Our study: Lent, Belhar, and Africentric Christian Ministry in the Era of the Alt Right. What does lent mean to Africentric Christians during a time of the reemergence of white supremacy? How is God calling Africentric Christians to bear witness and what are the means of doing so? We will be studying and discussing a chapter each week from the six reflections Pastor Lomax wrote for a new and recently published book entitled Lenten Reflections on the Confession of Belhar. A Call to Confess, A Call to Unity, A Call to Reconciliation, A Call to Justice and A Call to Act. This is a power study you do not want to miss.

VITA tax preparation begins January 23, 2017 and continues through April 18, 2017 (due to a DC holiday). There are approximately 30 locations to serve the community through FREE tax preparation.
