Bible Study – “Balance-Living With Life’s Demands” on Wednesdays,
February 8, 15, 22, & March 1 & 8 at 1:00 p.m. (VKB) & 7:00 p.m. (Community Room). Our liturgical season study aids us in “birthing” a balanced life. Balanced living with the realities of being Black, Conscious and Christian is no easy feat. This study for all ages engages us in an active approach to charting our head (thinking), heart (feelings) and feet (doing) towards well-being. Using Bible background of different images of living and community sharing, this study aims to help us sort through the various claims on our life and support our priorities towards a healthy and manageable perspective of living.
The Ujamaa Ministry, will host the 1st Exchange (Community Give Away) for 2017 on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on the church grounds of First African Presbyterian Church located at 5197 Salem Road, Lithonia, GA. We are asking that you please come out and participate in the exchange by bringing gently used items that someone else might be blessed to receive. Or, if there is an item that you see you need you can have it. Freely give and freely receive. EVERYTHING IS FREE!

The Deacon Board in conjunction with Creation Care, is requesting that those brothers and sisters that are interested in planting fruit trees come dressed accordingly on Sunday, February 26th.
