United Way’s VITA tax preparation is FREE for households with an income of $55,000 or less. And taxes are prepared by IRS trained and certified volunteers! VITA tax preparation begins January 23, 2017 and continues through April 18, 2017 (due to a DC holiday). There are approximately 30 locations to serve the community through FREE tax preparation.
