Mr. Alvin Forrest father of Deacon Andrea (Elder William) Keith made his transition on Saturday, June 11, 2016 in Augusta, GA. His services were held on Saturday, June 18th at Belle-Terrace Presbyterian Church, Augusta, GA.

Camp 2016 registration form_Page_3Our 2016 Camp Taifa is “Be Like A Tree: Sacred Trees of the Bible” for July 5-8, 2016 each evening at 6:00 p.m.  They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.  Jeremiah 17:8 Our Camp focus is on the trees in the Bible, their meaning, uses for healing and understanding the sacred texts. We will also learn about the trees in our own park! Use the Camp registration form and the Msaidia (assistant’s) form to register and/or offer your help with the camp.  Want to learn more about the camp experience? Afrientation for persons interested in attending or helping will be after either the 8:00a.m. or 10:00 a.m. services on Sunday, June 26, 2016.

Sankofa Center and the Master of Arts in Christian Education Course at the Interdenominational Theological Center presents  VISUAL STORYTELLING in WORSHIP and RELIGIOUS EDUCATION  10am-3:30pm, June 27 – July 9, 2016. (10am – 12:30pm Instruction and Modeling 12:30pm – 1:30pm Lunch, 1:30pm – 3:30pm Contextual Learning) Course Packet $45.00.
