The purpose of this course is to teach church members basic Christian doctrine. The course will focus on the persons of the Godhead and briefly examine key Christian doctrines: At the end of the course students will be familiar with

As a part of our becoming debt free, FAC is kicking off a campaign to retire the rehab loan on the Vanessa Knight Building. We need at least 100 families/people to give $10 per week over and above their normal tithes for 17 weeks starting August 3, 2014. Please note in the memo section on your checks or on the bottom of the offering envelope “Burn the Mortgage”.

Dear First Afrikan Family, Friends and Supporters: Citizens for a Healthy and Safe Environment is hosting an environmental justice conference on November 8, 2014. Our theme is: “The Air We Breathe”. The conference will educate the community on gasification/biomass dangers, the poor air quality in South DeKalb, the effects of landfills, biomass plants, diesel emissions and the devastating effects on our community. These unfriendly projects cause additional health issues such as lung diseases, aggravating diabetes and cardiac problems. Kilombo’s Annual Fundraising Dinner is Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 6 pm. The dinner will be held at the home of Dr. Haiba Sonyika.
