Personal Vocation (Call) in the Church’s Vocation Bible Study Wednesdays. We invite you to join us each Wednesday in March at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm as we engage Scripture in the addressing of our personal Divine Purpose in relationship to the First Afrikan Church purpose. We are all here with a purpose and our membership here is also a part of a community purpose. Let discover/discuss it together!
Creation Care Sunday, March 22, 2015 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. service “Honoring Our Ancestral Lands” Some of us have ancestors from Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, Jamaica, Guyana, Belize and Kenya. This year we prepare our season of earth work by honoring those lands where we have come from, join us for our celebration of the backyards, gardens, fields and dirt roads of our personal ancestors. If you are not sure, now is the time to ask family members so that we all can acknowledge and honor the paths they walked and the grounds they tended together! Soul Circles connecting to our Ancestral Lands– Mark your calendar and look for details on how we will specifically honor your family’s ancestral lands.
The Youth Ministry would like to thank all the parents of our Children and Youth for making Youth Sunday a success. We love to have our youth fellowship together after Youth Sunday service for a time of reflection. We do not want to exclude any child/youth. We are asking all parents of children/youth for a small donation of at least $5.00 to help defray the costs of the refreshments for our Youth. Please see Deacon Sharon Munajj or Deacon Andrea Keith after 10 am service on today.  Â
On behalf of the Center for Afrikan Biblical Studies and the Sankofa Center we cordially invite you to join us as we participate in this year’s Women at the Cross Worship Arts Services, at 7:00pm, Wednesday, April 1,2015 at The Interdenominational Theological Center Chapel.

Today we will begin planning for the 4th Annual 2015 FAC Youth Lock-In which is scheduled to take place April 24th – April 25th 2015. Last year’s Lock-In was INCREDIBLE thanks to many of you. We hope that you are able to assist this year through chaperoning, facilitating lessons, relationship building, food prep, exercising, gardening and more. This year we will again partner with other church youth groups, so we will need extra support to make it a memorable experience for all.  All are invited to help plan & participate. Please note that all adult participants must complete our FAC boundary training class which will be announced at a later date. Please join us in what will be a transformative experience for all!
