Personal Vocation (Call) in the Church’s Vocation Bible Study Wednesdays.  We invite you to join us each Wednesday in March at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm as we engage Scripture in the addressing of our personal Divine Purpose in relationship to the First Afrikan Church purpose.  We are all here with a purpose and our membership here is also a part of a community purpose.  Let discover/discuss it together!

 

FAC Parents. Our children, youth and teen (CYTs) church is held every SECOND and FOURTH Sundays of the month unless otherwise announced. The CYTs will assemble in the large community room and then break out to their respective classes by age groups.

 

AYODELE (The Joy of This House). Our children, youth and teens (CYTs) are the joy of First Afrikan and on THIRD SUNDAYS they will fill this Sanctuary with joy as they minister through praise and worship.  The Choir under Minister Bennett’s leadership will be rehearsing every SECOND SUNDAY immediately after worship service and 9:00 a.m. on THIRD SUNDAYS before worship service. Parents bring your child(ren) to be a part of this. All returning college students are also welcomed.

 

Parents your presence is required. Our children, youth and teens (CYTs) will gather immediately after Youth service on Third Sundays to do their sacred closing circle-a time to reflect, praise and commune together. Please joins us in the large community room for this sacred time.

 

 

Family, Do you REALLY believe the children are our future? Well now is your opportunity to help shape that future! Today we will begin planning for the 4th Annual 2015 FAC Youth Lock-In which is scheduled to take place April 24th – April 25th 2015. Last year’s Lock-In was INCREDIBLE thanks to many of you. We hope that you are able to assist this year through chaperoning, facilitating lessons, relationship building, food prep, exercising, gardening and more. This year we will again partner with other church youth groups, so we will need extra support to make it a memorable experience for all.  Our first planning meeting will be after church today Sunday, March 1st 2015, in the community room. All are invited to help plan & participate. Please note that all adult participants must complete our FAC boundary training class which will be announced at a later date. Please join us in what will be a transformative experience for all!
