All persons who qualified in the Run-Off for the DeKalb County Sheriff, School Board Districts 3, 4, 5, and State School Superintendent Seats have been invited. The forum will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, 7:00pm – 8:30pm, at First Afrikan Presbyterian Church located at 5197 Salem Road, Lithonia, Georgia 30038. We will start and end on time. The purpose of the forum is to allow the public to hear the views of the candidates. A brief question and answer period will follow. ”The Seasoned Women of First African are invited to join in a “Table Talk Conversation” – open topic, no agenda, no speaker – just you and your “seasoning” to add to our Afrikan Pot, which will help to share you with us and us with one another. The variety of the seasonings; the richer the broth and the more fulfilling what we all put in the pot. Regular meetings will be the second Tuesday of each month.
