The Worship Life Council selected Saturday, May 21, 2106 from 9:00 am to 12 noon as the time
for our Worship Life Mbongi. All members of Worship Life i.e., Music Ministry, Tamba Issa,, Ngoma
Lungunda, Drummers, Tana Dhari, Ushers, Sanctuary Choir, Harambee Greeters, Media Ministry and
both Youth and Children’s Church Leaders as well as those who are interested in serving as liturgists
are strongly encouraged to attend. It will be in FAC fellowship room.

The Southeast Region, National Black Presbyterian Caucus will hold its biennial Conference on July 15-17, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport Hotel, 14670 Duval Road, Jacksonville, FL. We are pleased that we have been able to negotiate an excellent rate of $95.00 per night, per room. In order to receive this rate, you must register for the conference and reserve your room by June 1, 2016.
The conference will begin on that Friday at 1:00pm. The theme is “Responding to the Signs of the Time in the Southeast Region Trusting in God” (2 Tim. 3:1, 1417) A planned intergenerational program that we hope will be spiritual, joyful and educational; one that we hope will enhance the spiritual growth of each attendee. Workshop topics include: Growing Churches/Evangelism Challenges for African American Congregations (The State of the Church) Social Justice (Societal Issues Facing the African American Community guns, drugs, etc) Church Polity The Ordination Process; Responding to Marriage Equality Registration cost is $175.00 for Adults ($200.00 after June 1), and $50.00 for youth and seminary students.
