The Worship Life Council selected Saturday, May 21, 2106 from 9:00 am to 12 noon as the time for our Worship Life Mbongi. All members of Worship Life i.e., Music Ministry, Tamba Issa,, Ngoma Lungunda, Drummers, Tana Dhari, Ushers, Sanctuary Choir, Harambee Greeters, Media Ministry and both Youth and Children’s Church Leaders as well as those who are interested in serving as liturgists are strongly encouraged to attend. It will be in FAC fellowship room.
The Church office will be closed Monday May 30 thru Friday, June 3rd.
Nsaa Sunday is June 26, 2016 at both the 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. worship services. Our 2016 theme: “Our Baobab Tree: Black Educational Institutions” Based in the Book of Revelations 22:1-5 Nasa Sunday honors the tradition of institution building from the 1860s Sabbath Schools, Historically Black Colleges and Independent African Centered Schools of the 60s, 70s, and today. Dr. Kofi Lomotey, Distinguished professor of Educational Leadership at Western University, former president of two HBCUs, and co-founder of the Council of Independent Black Institutions (CIBI) is our Community Nsaa recipient and presenter of the occasion is our guest in conversation with Rev.
