Clarence Cotton, aka Bro Kemeseng, mourns the loss his mother, Sister Doris A. Cotton, of Washington DC. Although we are saddened, we celebrate her joining the cloud of witnesses that continue to work and advocate on our behalf.

The home going celebration is scheduled for  Monday, July 25, at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 5119 4^th St. NW, Washington, DC 20011.

New Member’s Class Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:00am in the Community Room. Please RSVP to the church office No Later than Wednesday, July 27, 2016 if you will be attending. Email  fapc@firstafrikanchurch.org. So, that we may have adequate supplies and refreshments for all participants.

 

 

 

 

 

The Fourth Ujamaa Exchange (Community Give Away) will take place on July 30, 2016 from 10am -2pm on the church grounds. We are asking you to please bring your extras, your gently used items (clothes, books, household, automotive, electronic goods, etcetera) that could be of use to someone in the community for a FREE exchange. If there is an item that you need…freely give and freely receive.  EVERYTHING IS FREE… GO TELL IT!!!
