We are inviting you to stay and fellowship with us as we experience Koinonia (communion with God and with one another) The Fifth Ujamaa Exchange (Community Give Away) will take place on October 22, 2016 from 10am -2pm on the church grounds. We are asking you to please bring your extras, your gently used items (clothes, books, household, automotive, electronic goods, etcetera) that could be of use to someone in the community for a FREE exchange. If there is an item that you need…freely give and freely receive. F.A.C.A.T (First Afrikan Community Action Team) will host a community forum on the O.S.D. (Opportunity School District). This informational session will have a diverse panel of speakers to address the legislation that’s been signed by Georgia’s Governor Deal. This November, voters will be asked to authorize that state to create a separate school district for its failing schools within the state. The forum is Monday, October 24, 2016 at First Afrikan Church, at 7:00pm.
