The 8:00 a.m. Service is Back! Beginning Sunday, January 18, 2015 there will be two worship services each week – 8:00 am. and 10:00 am. Please reach out to members of the church and community whom you know and inform them of the good news.

 

January Shabbat begins January 4-18th.  Our period of Shabbat affords us to spend intentional time in family and in community to reflect, mediate and imagine ourselves in a healed world.  We invite you to join us in this corporate time of reflection as we read scripture, study and engage in community prayer rituals around the theme “Black Life Matters”.  Shabbat materials will be distributed at a later time to be determined.

 

New Officer’s training beginning Saturdays, January 10, 17, 24, 31, 2015 9am – Noon.

 

Men interested in learning more and assisting with the rebirth of The First Afrikan Boys Rites of Passage Program should plan to meet at the church on Saturday January 17, 2014 at noon.

First Afrikan Church Author’s Reception-Sunday, February 22, 2015.

The Deacon Board and Center for Afrikan Biblical Studies invites all FAC Authors to participate in a book signing Friends and Family Reception after worship service. We would like the entire FAC family to know and experience the gift of books produced by our own members! Each author will have a table with books for sale and an opportunity to sign them.
