ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Wrapping Up Breast Cancer Awareness Month: During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the FAC Deacons provided information on what you can do to stay healthy and informed
about this disease. Last week, the American Cancer Society issued new breast health screening guidelines, raising the recommended age for annual mammograms from 40 to 45, while removing the clinical breast exam recommendation entirely. The Komen Atlanta organization provided free calendars with even more information about screening for early detection and local events. If you would like to make a donation in honor or memory of someone you love, please see Deacon Sharon Munajj for a pink ribbon. No donation is too small and all proceeds will be donated to Komen Atlanta to assist people with low-cost screening, treatment and local support. Thank you!
