You are invited to this year’s Vacation Bible School: Camp Taifa with the theme: “Wisdom Under The Baobab Tree” July 6-9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. Our Hebrew Bible focus is the wisdom books: Jobs, Proverb and Ecclesiastes and, Afrikan Proverbs. Our goal is to express wisdom as it comes to use through our children, adults and our elders. Using music, images, stories and movement, the intent of the camp is to (1) link wisdom to the building of our nation as African and Christians and (2) wisdom is a gift from our Creator not bound by age; meaning it can appear at any age. The task is knowing when to recognize it. As always, we also tie Camp Taifa with our July Community Festival which is Saturday, July 11, 2015. Registration forms are in the narthex and downstairs. If you are interested in working with the Camp Taifa please complete the “Assistance” information sheet also left in both areas.
