ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Shabbat 2016-Discerning God’s Gifts and God’s Purpose—As a faith community, we practice the discipline of Shabbat. A focused time of prayer, scripture reading and reflection. We invite you to refrain from the routine chatter and sit still within the Presence of Our Creator. During Shabbat there are no church meetings from January 13-January 31, 2016. For those who have not exercised the discipline of a Shabbat before and for those who desire to experience a “communal Shabbat”, we will gather Wednesday, January 13 at 1 and at 7p.m for a community Shabbat hour. The materials for Shabbat will be available for you beginning Wednesday, January 13, 2016 and can be picked up from the downstairs community room.
